NCF6 Concept Former
Description
The NCF6 Concept Former is a fully automatic coil forming machine for plastic spirals/coils, producing diameters from 6 mm to 30 mm (optional up to 50 mm) in a wide range of pitches – including 0.2475", 4:1, 6 mm, 5:1, 3:1 and 2.5:1. Custom pitch options are available. Coil lengths range from 160 mm to 460 mm, or up to 1090 mm with an optional extension table. The system features a modern PLC control unit with colour touchscreen, pre-programmed temperature and speed settings, and a fault log for easy maintenance. Additional features include: automatic oiling, hot start, pneumatic coil ejection, empty spool detection, shielded heater, compact footprint and quiet, low-vibration operation. The NCF6 Concept Former can be seamlessly integrated with other RENZ systems – e.g. the APSI 300 auto inserter – for full production automation.
