Industrial, high-speed, fully-automatic production RENZ RING WIRE® binding line for books, calendars and skip binding.
The RENZ ABL 500 is an industrial, fully automatic high-speed binding machine for RENZ RING WIRE® bindings of books, calendars, and skip-bound products. It processes pre-punched products up to 500 mm wide and 15 mm thick at speeds of up to 2,000 units per hour. The user-friendly, multilingual touchscreen control allows for quick and simple format changes. An optional job memory can store and retrieve up to 50 job settings for recurring production tasks. The pre-punched product is manually positioned and then automatically transported through the system. The precision transport system aligns the products perfectly before delivering them to the binding station. RENZ closing tools, tailored to individual wire diameters, ensure a perfect round closure for every product. Optionally, the machine can be equipped with the DBW 500 cover sheet turner, which automatically positions the back cover correctly. The KL 500 stacker rotates every second product by 180°, ensuring a stable, aligned stack for packaging. The optional KAS calendar hanger system automatically shapes and inserts straight standard or Euro-form hangers (e.g., with the KAS 300 IL for lengths between 80–300 mm). The RENZ ABL 500 is the perfect solution for high-volume industrial binding with maximum flexibility and automation.
