Description
The RENZ 42 SE is a fully automatic wire spiral forming and inserting machine designed for the serial production of books, calendars and other bound products. The machine forms spirals directly from a spool, automatically inserts them into pre-punched book blocks, and simultaneously trims and neatly bends both ends inward. The result is a fully bound product completed in a single automated operation. The pre-punched product is positioned on the infeed table, and the machine can be operated conveniently from a seated position using a knee or table switch. Wire is formed via a mandrel and spirals are inserted into the punching holes at lengths of up to 420 mm. After the ends are crimped inward, the finished product can be removed. Thanks to short changeover times when switching diameter or pitch, the RENZ 42 SE offers excellent flexibility – making it ideal for printers, binderies and manufacturers seeking high-quality, automated spiral binding.
