Meeting with Al Boese in Lake Bluff, IL, USA
In mid-July 2025, Michael Schubert, CEO of Chr. Renz GmbH, had the opportunity to engage in an intensive exchange with Al Boese, Executive Director of the BindRite Dealers Association. The focus was on the current market conditions for office machines and consumables in the USA and the changes at Chr. Renz GmbH with regard to the future investor Plockmatic Group from Sweden.
Al is a veteran of the paper and binding industry, has an excellent network and is still enthusiastic about his work. Even at the age of 91, he organises the BindRite Dealers Association, looks after members and suppliers, and is responsible for the association's website and annual dealer conference.

Mitte Juli 2025 hatte Michael Schubert, CEO der Chr. Renz GmbH, die Gelegenheit zu einem intensiven Austausch mit Al Boese, Executive Director der BindRite Dealers Association. Dabei standen die aktuellen Marktbedingungen für Büromaschinen und Verbrauchsmaterial in den USA sowie die Veränderungen bei Chr. Renz GmbH in Bezug auf den zukünftigen Investor Plockmatic Group aus Schweden im Mittelpunkt.
Al ist ein Urgestein der Papier- und Bindebranche, bestens vernetzt und mit ungebrochener Begeisterung für seine Arbeit. Auch mit 91 Jahren organisiert er die Vereinigung amerikanischer Bürohändler, BindRite Dealers Association, betreut Mitglieder und Lieferanten und sorgt für den Internetauftritt sowie die jährliche Händlertagung.
