Step 2 - electric

Step 2
(electric punching)
Step 1
Select the plastic comb,
determined by the number of
pages, and place it onto the
machine. Use the adjusting
knob to adjust the comb
stop to the desired diameter.
Pull the binding lever to open
the comb.
Step 2
The paper is dropped vertically into the exact position. Specially
hardened punching stamps punch sections of paper up to .080"
(2.0 mm) - combi E: .100" (2.5 mm) - and give precise punching
results with minimal effort (manual version). With electric
machines punching is done by pressing the foot pedal.

Step 3
Step 4
Adjustable margin

Step 3
Take the punched paper out
of the machine and place
it directly onto the open
comb. Then close the comb.
Separate punching and
binding of the two-lever
system makes production
very efficient, especially
when thick books have to be
punched in several sections.

Step 4
Finished. Remove the bound
book from the machine.

On models with adjustable margin turn the adjustment knob to the selected margin. For thicker books, a larger margin can be used to prevent the pages from tearing out.
