Step 1
Select the plastic comb, determined by the number of pages, and place it onto the machine. Use the adjusting knob to adjust the comb stop to the desired diameter. Pull the binding lever to open the comb. |
Step 2
The paper is dropped vertically into the exact position. Specially hardened punching stamps punch sections of paper up to .080" (2.0 mm) - combi E: .100" (2.5 mm) - and give precise punching results with minimal effort (manual version). With electric machines punching is done by pressing the foot pedal. |

Step 3 Take the punched paper out of the machine and place it directly onto the open comb. Then close the comb. Separate punching and binding of the two-lever system makes production very efficient, especially when thick books have to be punched in several sections. |
Step 4 Finished. Remove the bound book from the machine. |
On models with adjustable margin turn the adjustment knob to the selected margin. For thicker books, a larger margin can be used to prevent the pages from tearing out.
